QUAYLA SIMMS, M.A., LPCC-S

What does this counselor do? The simplest answer — I help others. I help others by exposing patterns, connecting dots and assisting the process of increasing self-efficacy. Life has called me into this profession to help others help themselves. If you are willing to put the work in, I am too.  2026 marks my 13th year in the mental health field, and I am so grateful to be an active part of its evolution. I have worked with individuals in all walks of life and these experiences have made me a better counselor. I am a marriage and family therapist by degree and licensed to work with everyone, including individuals, couples, and families. My specialties include anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, couples'/family issues and perinatal support. I'm here to help my clients process their feelings of discomfort and figure out a plan of action. If you’ve come this far, let me help you the rest of the way.
